History

In 1985, after graduating from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in Electrical Engineering and working in the defense industry, Bruce Gibson opened his software development business targeting PC based computer systems that were used in data acquisition and control. The venture proved successful. With his previous background in microprocessor and microcontroller software development, it was only natural to add these disciplines to his company’s offerings.

Over the years Bruce has teamed up successfully with other companies, both large and small, as well as other talented individuals, to provide the whole range of services needed for design and development of microprocessor/microcontroller and Windows™ based products. These products have spanned a multitude of industries including petroleum, automotive, textile, marine, mineral exploration, plastic, real estate, building automation, health care, and the fitness industry.

Still focusing on the PC as a major platform and with the Internet taking a prominent role in communications and software application services, B Gibson Group has been at the forefront implementing and utilizing Web 2.0 technologies. With embedded devices such as the NetBurner platform, an integration of hardware appliances with the Internet has become a focus of B Gibson Group.
